It May Look Like A Walnut nearly didn’t get made. Executive Producer Sheldon Leonard thought the script was too silly and out of show character. Carl Reiner lobbied for it, and it became one of the greatest sitcom episodes ever. Leonard admitted his mistake later on. He was decent that way.
