30. I find that in most rural areas

I lived rurally for 10 years and found when you live in a area of a few police for 100 miles in any direction, the rugged thing comes to play. You know help won't come fast so you learn to do for yourself and help others. I never lived in a area so quick to help if car got stuck in a ditch due to ice, or a big storm came in and hard time getting to work.

My husband had a hard time with his first retirement job as no one took breaks and he was used to a scheduled one. They thought it made them look tough. Then on one minimum wage job he was asked to lift heavy weights, do the work plumbers, carpenters, electrical workers do.

People from the city have a hard time understanding this mindset because most of us are use to rules, community, police coming fast, etc.

Now that I have lived in both I understand both. My friends from rural area say hospital 45 min away full and they are fearful.
