3. We had prepared for weeks to receive the Pfizer vaccine this week

Our hospital is located just outside of Nashville and has been a Covid hotspot. In fact, we were one of very few facilities in the state to receive federal funds for Covid care due to the numbers of cases we had treated. On Monday, we received notification that there would be no Pfizer vaccine coming to our facility. Who knows where the breakdown occurred but it doesn't appear to be an issue in surrounding states. So now, we wait and are preparing for the Moderna vaccine instead.
