We make up food bags for the kids .

This week we made up bags for the kids for breakfasts and lunches for the next two weeks over the break. A lot of the kids didn’t want them so there were quite a few left over. I got the OK to give them for the food bank in the community. Unfortunately The two largest were closed until next week, and the third didn’t have any refrigeration. I had crates of individual milks. Fortunately enough of the people at school knew families that they could divvy them out to, but these families were not really needy.

Please get in touch with your local schools after the Christmas break. I don’t know if they are like the Florida schools, but if they give out food bags, they might have a lot of leftovers by the end of the week. A lot of the kids don’t take the bags and some of the kids just throw the stuff away.I know that some of this can be used for food at food banks so please consider this as an option.

All the food is packaged or pre/wrapped so not touched before being bagged.
