21. Thank you. Even before this, just today I contributed another $100 to FoodShare here in CT.....

It's one of the best ways to help people in need. Each $100 allows them to provide 250 meals, which is amazing. It's not that difficult for many of us here on DU. I'm sure lots of us can chip in a few dollars. And with many of us not going to restaurants or spending money on recreational activities, the money we save can help feed those in dire economic straits.

When I see those reports of hundreds of cars lined up to get food for their families it breaks my heart. They spend hours on line just to be able to feed their families. So sad.

So please, if you can do it, help those who can't afford to buy food!
