(798 posts)47. I think the republicans were going to succeed regardless because I saw
plenty of adds where Dems went on the offensive down here on NC to attack Republican ideas and they just didn't work. Some people will say the democrats should have defended themselves in their adds but that is always a losing formula. If you have to spend time defending yourself then your opponent always has the upper hand psychologically.
