It was noted that an actual crazy strategy was employed during the debate. look red meat, go ballistic on actual content so no one can tell what he stands for- except hate and change. Actual cheating during the negotiated rules format included talking over the befuddled moderator.

When running on empty floor the accelerator to make it to the gas station? Impressive and irrational but this is well rewarded by his special interests and the base he is still trying to solidify and keep energized. Works well with cranky old white guys of a certain persuasion though I think he solidified Obama's already huge female advantage.

Still trying to keep the old(and old and corrupt at heart) white rich guys. You know, the seamy heart of the rotting establishment. It might work to sustain him from complete collapse and even get some more gas in the tank. It certainly goes with the common wisdom about apporoaching a cornered rat.

Romney is pretty much toast, but he needs to be crushed- because he CAN be. The vote fraud by the GOP needs to be crushed because we still have a DOJ of sorts. We need to step over his useless corpse to battle downticket. That is also what is keeping them supporting their weak front lineman. More attacks downticket will drain GOP resources away from the near hopeless loser and further accomplish the defeat of both.

The Dems need to look at the actual game rigged by the GOP and enforce the rules not just abide by them unilaterally. This unilateral stuff is noble. Fine. Now take the legitimate advantage and hammer the GOP legitimately with strategy that recognizes what they are doing.

This whole election cycle has been about obfuscating so that 2016 will see them with a clean slate of evaded accountability and hugely unjustified and obstructive representation in place(especially state Houses and Congress). It is ALL smoke and mirrors bracketed mainly by the Bushes.

If I hear "because they can" repeated as often now as "we must move on" I'll know this surrender to lawlessness is absolutely complete. They know what they can do and what the limits are(like actually horsewhipping the president with a bullwhip while Lehrer is sipping his Geritol?).

Politics has devolved to the scummy lack of GOP talent. All checkers where the squares and the peices are rigged toward the GOP and the ideal being tic tac toe where they get the first move, though they might also be dumb enough to manage to lose.

The Dems have never faced the lawful reality of policing the election and handicapped themselves at the expense of the voting public. They accept the media special interest domination of Thought in this country represented by corporate media. They also gave up a lot of their own election tinkering enamored of the honest easy conclusion that more voters mean more Dem voters. Bully for them.
