45. Not as such but there is a trend among some Democrats to adopt the moralizing

tactic from the Republicans that I guess mostly started as a bit of Clinton backlash and is pushed hard by having what we see as an example type family in the White House from our party combined with assimilating a lot of former Republicans and Republican leaners that seem to be who such talk resonated with in the first place.

Now much that is seen through the political lens is distorted by a reactionary theocracy friendly party and a fairly conservative one bolstered by a portion of the progressive movement having strong paternalistic tendencies, that have little aversion to telling the individual how to order their lives and what model to conform to for the greater good so it can seem so but I think the average person on the street is less stuck on this stuff than ever (in America) but are somewhat susceptible to media barrage.
