56. He epitomized Republican hypocrisy

I actually wonder how much of his spiel he truly believed. Was he really a prick or was it all just an act that he played to scam money, access and attention? His short-lived stint on MNF showed that when he was not in control of the situation he failed. In that scenario his words actually had consequences for himself. It is no wonder he did not last.

He was mean, base, hypocritical and disgusting as well as anti-American in his public persona but we will never actually know what he believed beyond scamming. It required the growth of hate radio for him to be “successful”.

As for his death? Well, peace to whatever family and friends he had. That being said I will not waste any more thought on him other than as a warning example of the dangers inherent in conservatism.
