Nashville explosion: Investigators search Antioch address Saturday as hundreds of tips pour in [View all]

The Tennessean

A person of interest has been identified in connection with the Christmas day explosion in Nashville, a law enforcement source confirmed Saturday. No arrests have been made.

Authorities with the FBI, ATF and the Metro Nashville Police Department converged in the 100 block of Bakertown Road in Antioch just after noon on Saturday.

“Information developed during the course of the investigation led us to this address,” said Darrell DeBusk, an FBI public affairs officer.

Details of motives are not known. Officials declined to comment on the activity in Antioch and the person of interest during an afternoon briefing.

"I am fairly confident we'll be able to identify an individual or ascertain what has occurred. We've just been taking some time," said Douglas Korneski, special agent in charge of the Memphis Field Office.
