Howard Fineman: Trump makes Marie Antoinette look like AOC. [View all]

Tweeted a couple of minutes ago:

Don't be fooled by #Trump's $2K talk. He could've made it a priority but didn't when it counted. He's just out to blow up to get attention. Now he'll let federal aid for the unemployed end while he's golfing, gorging and rage tweeting. He makes Marie Antoinette look like @AOC.

___________

Editing to explain the comparison Fineman was making for anyone who DOESN'T get it (though honestly I don't understand why anyone wouldn't get it):

Fineman made that analogy to stress how selfish and unconcerned about society Trump is. He's saying that compared to Trump, Marie Antoinette -- even though she's infamous for supposedly having said "Let them eat cake" when told her subjects didn't have any bread -- was as concerned about people's welfare as AOC.
