12. OK, a bit of armchair psychologizing

Trump is an almost classical case of the narcissistic personality disorder. There's a description of the symptoms from the Mayo Clinic which says in part " behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism."

To Trump, the greatest insult is "loser". His fragile ego won't allow him to admit that he lost. And, after all, he is, in his own mind, the greatest of modern presidents, a fact obvious to all right-thinking people, so the only way that Biden could have won was by fraud. Those who deny this are his enemies, and deserve to be punished.

Trump lives in a fantasy world, and refuses to leave it, because he can't leave it and still function even at the crap level he does.
