7. Don't the Republicans already spread BS anyway?

I'm thinking of all that stuff about Joe Biden being a commie socialist who'll ban Christmas and push granny under publicly run buses, blah blah blah. I don't understand why people are so worried about what Republicans will say that they expect good people like Bernie Sanders to modify their behaviour to try to stop them from spinning things. It's not going to matter.

Watching from another country, my criticism of the Democrats and the media is that they're not very skilled at jumping on things and driving them home to the public. The simple message that should be saturating all media is that Democrats care (as much as any major political party can) about you. The Republicans don't care about you and all they care about is getting tax breaks for their billionaire donors. They don't care about your health, your national security, and they definitely don't care about democracy...
