It is logic. You don't surreptitiously bring out a hanky and toss it on the lecturn...out of your front pocket. And a hanky doesn't shake down with a stack of paper. And you don't hand your son a dirty hanky.
Fail on many levels ... but we've already given in to the "they explained it already...move on...nothing to see here."
Hell, that's how he got here...Privileged, Lying, Cheating, Entitled, Arrogant White Man. Pissed me off to hear about the "Angry Black Man Syndrome" because Obama was so ashamed he put his head down. Is there no event that does not drag in his parentage?
Mitt was hyper and had crib notes...hanky, folded up piece of paper, whatever. We don't need to get over it.

I saw a clip with an enlarged close-up of the podium. It did not looked like folded paper there.
