One person on the call has to know about the recording, but not both.

Since Trump clearly didn't think he was being recorded that means the tapes come from Raffensberger. Very easy to see how these tapes made their way to WaPo.

Raffensberger recorded them and when Trump started lying about the conversation he handed the tapes to the paper.
