You don't have to be a socialist to admit that the programming on PBS is far superior to what you can get elsewhere. And, a lot of us can't afford to shell out $1,000 a year for basic cable just to get the History or Nature channel.

I guess you haven't seen the History Channel recently. You can't compare it to PBS.
