(2,626 posts)If Democrats exercise restraint by staying away and allow Democracy to unfold as it should on the Senate floor, none on the Right will be able to blame Democrats when things go awry. The unregulated militia will look to be nothing more than the fools they are.
There are people who make their living in the buildings in DC. There is no reason to participate in any activity that jeopardizes the hard work and livelihoods of these good people.
Let Congress do their job on that day and let the mobster's minions mill about looking for a fight. Chances are if Democrats aren't present they'll just start tearing at each other. You know THAT is something that will be seen around the world. Trump's fools foolishly kicking each others' asses for lack of impulse control just like their Kinky King.
I can think of no good reason for anyone on the Left to be in attendance unless it is their own yearning for confrontation. If Democrats are to find a winning strategy through unity, this is a good place to begin.
