The Big Bird comment came across as callous - who knew that "firing a puppet" would raise such a firestorm? I mean the gop has convinced some folks to starve the hungry, and reject medical care for the sick, but take away "my" Big Bird? Take away from "them" but not "me".

I have several gop friends who appear to be suffering from a dissociation in politics syndrome. One actually wrote on FB that she thought Obama had a bigger heart, but that Rmoney was smarter and the debates proved it. huh?

I feel this will follow him as well, I agree with you 100%.
