Recently someone said to me that they vote Republican because they want to be able to tell God when they go to heaven that they voted the right way. (Abortion)

I said that I am a Christian and a Liberal and I am certain that I can go to heaven and be fine with God.

As a matter of fact, I am a Liberal because I am a Christian.

She looked shocked.
