It was later explained, though, that if they tried to summon everyone back this weekend, a Republican would surely object, so they are going to fast track the thing on Monday and have it go to the Senate the next day.
Of course, the traitor McConnell will sit on it, but regardless, the House will move on this unless Trumpy talks Pence, who he tried to have killed, into pardoning him in exchange for his resignation. I think Trump will read the writing on the wall and resign because he is scared of prison.
But I'm darned sight HOPING for impeachment, trial by Senate, and then subsequent federal charges brought against Trump by the DOJ, followed by a well-deserved and long imprisonment in a federal facility. Leavenworth would be nice.
