(4,840 posts)Not only for our citizens but did Santorum ever think that our military might need a non-private, governmental entity to provide an accurate and uninterrupted source of weather information, especially in time of war or when conducting other strategic activities vital to America's defense?
Our military, on the eve of some action like taking out Bin Laden, for example, can't afford to have some private weather entity withhold valuable information for, God knows whatever reason they may cite like, helping the U.S. military would interfere with their overseas business relations or it would "violate their rights to privacy". That's all we need on the eve of a military action. Our military bargaining with and begging a private commercial weather info provider for access to a forecast. No way!
Welcome back, Mr. Grayson!
