(34,006 posts)78. Things I've looked at actually show the Independent contingent gaining ground
and the Republicans losing members. Some are becoming outright Democrats but many are changing affiliation to Independent. Which is unfortunate because I fear the Libertarian contingent isn't ideal. Progressives have a row to hoe. The changing dynamics are at the least, interesting to watch. But we need all the help we can get.
