were nothing but brief, dry, context-less statements that revealed a LOT. "We've been locked in the chamber" (you won't get in, and there are police here) and "The speaker has been removed" (don't waste your time here, look elsewhere, she's on the move, but she's got security with her). No fat in those phrases, no emotion, just intel about where they were and where Nancy wasn't. Pretty strange for a newbie in her first weeks of Congress, right?
