they could very well win next time.

If their plan is to attack all 50 state capitols, which is entirely possible, they could very well occupy and control a significant number of state capitols by the 20th and use those buildings to install their own legislatures and create a rump fascist government. It could take weeks to suppress that mess, and it is still unclear how much support they have at all levels of law enforcement and in the state and national military organizations.

They are not a joke.
