But I know that's just wishful thinking and not wanting to face reality. I've known ever since Bundy was able to pretty much get away with his armed seizure of public property that more armed show downs were inevitable. We expect our military to take casualties, even thousands of them, in order to preserve our democracy. I'm afraid that it will take civilian casualties also now before it can be preserved.
