People like these have a real disconnect with any kind of critical thinking or reality. There’s a subset of women I’ve run across in my life who use their children to justify and explain their formless rage. I think it’s a combination of trying to come across as a fierce mother figure and a sacrificing one.

Every woman I’ve known who is like this treats her children badly on an emotional and psychological level. They guilt trip their children and are usually physically abusive.
