I wouldn't know it if Anne McCaffrey hadn't titled a series Petaybee.

The Petaybee Series is a series of young-adult science fiction novels by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough.

Powers trilogy
The first Petaybee series, the Powers trilogy, consists of three books: Powers that Be published in 1993, Power Lines (1994) and Power Play (1995).
