Donald Trump plans to hold unprecedented military 'farewell event' with a 21-gun salute, color guard and martial music when he boards Air Force One for Mar-a-Lago on morning of Biden's inauguration

President Donald Trump will hold an unprecedented farewell event at Joint Base Andrews the morning of Joe Biden's inauguration
He will hold it at the base where Air Force One is headquartered
He'll then fly to Mar-a-Lago before Biden takes the oath of office
That makes unlikely he and Melania will host Joe and Jill for traditional coffee
But it will let Trump use call sign 'Air Force One' for his flight to Florida
