You've had a physical and mental, maybe emotional shock.

I was more or less in your shoes 3 weeks out of post tri-fractured ankle surgery back in '12 while in rehab. A very healthy 59 yr person (except for 2 major accidents this being the 2nd, and very near sighted, so-so hearing from birth) -
suddenly WTF!!!

Lucky the med started working right off! Was in ICU for ? 2 1/2 days, reg room 1 day, then back to rehab facility to continue healing up.

They probably told you you're going to bruise more easily yeah, it looks scary. Warn anyone who you interact with once you get home!
My poor sis had quite a start coming to visit me in rehab when she returned from a very far away vacation seeing me with all these bruises.

So please take it slowly because you want to be in good shape to celebrate on 1/20!
