The bigger the pain the bigger the rush he gets out of watching it. He has no sense of shame about this and expects other people to suffer as entertainment for his pleasure. I have no doubt he was disappointed that none of his political enemies was injured or died.

He's the kind who lights a bonfire and then throws on gasoline to see how high the flames will go.
