33. Anger is usually stupid. It plays into Trump's hands.

I'm angry at the crazy, lost, anger-infused numbskulls who invaded the Capitol. But they're really just broken units with nothing to live for when you get right down to it. They're, sadly, a group of messed up misfits and the predators who feed on them.

The way out of this, imo, is to coolly promote and take action on the effective liberal plans that lead to a better life for everyone. Get busy. Win elections. We have a huge opportunity here as the pandemic is brought under control with us in the driver's seat. We don't need to be reacting with diffuse anger, justified or not. That would be dumb.

Focused anger is fine. Focus on the malevolent and cynical roots. Focus on the machine that spews the garbage. Personally, I see that happening already, so I'm optimistic.
