Has been warned that a self-pardon is either going to implicate him, or it will be struck down anyway. Also, I think someone has talked sense into him and may have threatened that if he pardons anyone in his own circle, he will find himself facing serious consequences and charges of sedition.

And Rudy is no longer one of his impeachment attorneys. Things are getting real.
