In reply to the discussion: Do you think Biden will run for reelection in 2024? [View all]mtnsnake

I edited my title of this post completely because I was thinking the poll was about whether Trump would run again in 2024, not Biden. I guess I read the title of the OP a little too quickly and much too carelessly. Yikes
I originally said "Not a chance. Even most of his own supporters will abandon him long before then." I would never have said something as senseless as that if I had read the OP's title more carefully to begin with. Biden's supporters would never abandon him, obviously.
Thanks to you and Drunken Irishman for catching me on this, or I wouldn't have realized my mistake.

The fact that Biden may run again strengthens his hand in managing his presidency.

Biden has more to fix in the next four years than other Presidents could do in eight years.

I do not have a source to give but I am pretty damn sure I heard him say he is only doing one term.

Sigh. You'd think DU could give Biden a minute of his first term before declaring him a lame duck.

Yes, it is crippling. There's a reason lame ducks are called lame ducks. And RWers are weaponizing

I think so, but I think a lot will depend on how the 2022 midterms go.
