Individual Republicans may change, but not the party itself. After all, the party is funded and, in reality, "owned" by its big money donor class. As is happening right now behind the scenes, those big donors, who also control the world's largest corporations, will occasionally take steps to tweak their party's public image, if their pawns get too rowdy and out of control. But, the plutocrats' intent will always remain the same: to acquire as much wealth as possible by any means possible.
