1. Yes and trying to use DOJ to petition SC instead of his campaign lawyers is gross abuse of office

Not only is that politicizing the DOJ but it is misuse of taxpayer resources to get DOJ to intervene on behalf of his campaign instead of relying on his own campaign lawyers who attempted to petition SC but failed due to lack of standing and merit.
