Why, if the repubs were allowed to make such an ado over Kennedy being Catholic, and that basically the 'POPE' would be running this country, then why can't we talk about the preaching of the Mormons. That is, for centuries/decades the Mormons have been driven first by the church, second by the family, third by the country.
When the old predicted that a Mormon would become President, then the country will become a Mormon
STATE. Why aren't people researching the Mormon teachings and bringing this up? This is VASTLY more believable than what the GOP said about Kennedy/Pope!
