They were using the Game theory used in adventure video games to bring people in, and get them hooked.

Bannon used the Cambridge Analytica electronic gaslighting in 2016. I think this is just a newer approach.

They found some one who knew how this Game that plays people worked, and went all in. My guess is all the usual suspects. Bannon, Stone, and Flynn and his lawyer Kraken Powell were probably the top ring with whoever the tech guy was.

There is video of Flynn and Powell and several others making an "oath" to Q anon at a Summer party.

This same bunch were also Core in the "Stop the Steal" conspiracy.
