I believe he’s gaslighting his subordinates into finding ways to be more subservient to him by questioning the loyalty of associates and attacking them. It’s rooted in his own deeply held feelings of insecurity. He’s a broken, self-hating and toxic person who brings out the worst of those he surrounds himself with.

To Trump, people are toys to be discarded.

He’s a monster.
