I believe that public school teachers are at the very top of what profession is most valuable to society, name any other profession, teachers had a hand in the early training of those professionals. But our society value teachers very poorly. If our societal values were different, hyper-billionaires would not get the adulation that they get today, and public school teachers would be the most valued members of the communities that they live in.
