I get the impression that it isn't their idea to wear more makeup. I noticed it the other day with Katy Tur and it didn't look good on her at all. I hate the idea that intelligent, competent women could be pressured to enhance their looks for the camera, as if that is why we are watching them. I hate when I see it on CNN's female hosts, where sometimes they look like they are trying to compete with Fox. A person's appearance should not be a distraction from what they are saying.
