What I would hope is that Romney buttonholes a few of his Senate Republican colleagues and talks them into voting to convict, too. Although there is the uncomfortable silence that might follow from, "Yeah Mitt, you almost got your ticket punched, but I really can't fault Trump for setting that in motion, so I'm going to vote to acquit. Give my best to Ann."
