39. There's an exception to most rules

A high school friend of mine moved to Alaska (Wasilla, in fact) and I always thought she was cute back in the day but now, in her late 40s she is beautiful. We keep in sporadic contact through the Facebook and she just apparently never let life kick her harder than she could kick back.
