41. In A Town That Size...

...he could get elected by his drinking buddies.
My town is 6,000 and it happened here. And we're still technically Chicago metro.
Big mouth, fake veteran drunk who owned a plumbing outfit got elected mayor by word of mouth of the gang he drank with.
That guy has said some really stupid stuff, but not close to as bad as "don't care if you die".
