40. Not with the dog I have now.

Never had any problems with my other pupper s over the years, but this dog is a sneak thief. If I have food on the coffee table, which is where we normally eat, I can't turn my back for a second or she'll eat everything.

We feed her treats separately and never feed her from our plates or let her get too close and start sniffing and licking her chops. In the seconds takes me to go back to the kitchen for something she has licked the plate clean. She is unfazed by any discipline to correct this disobedience and repeats it anytime food is set out so I have to put her out while we eat.

She isn't stupid, knows all her basic obedience commands, but just ignores everything when our meals are the prize. I've never had such a dishonest dog.
