they're simply dumb asses.

Even those with LE and/or military training are either average, above average, or below average in intelligence.
This crowd fell way below average.

Apparently, they buy into that archaic, quaint, overly romanticized notion that citizens showing up at the Capitol with torches and pitchforks, and stomp their feet and demand that the government appeases them, is how things actually work.
That's not how it works.

They were murderous scum who wanted to kill elected US officials. The insurgents all deserved to leave that building
in bags.
