until much later this year. Most of the planet's population at this point doesn't even have a wait list yet to try to sign up to.

I liked the idea of pinning *one* thread to the top of the forum so people can share their "I got vaccinated!" story. We don't need five threads a day and separate threads for your first shot and second shot. Maybe a second pinned thread for "I'm having trouble getting vaccinated, what do I do?" so people can get advice.

I get that people are excited and that it's a huge relief and that they want to share it with their DU "family" but weeks in, it's just not that interesting for anyone else to read the fiftieth thread about it clogging up the General Discussion forum. If nothing else, can we take it to the Lounge? It's not a current news story anymore.
