in governance for over 40 years

circa Reagan, the game plan became
destroy governance and blame the Democrats

a lot of it is actually an ideological holdover from the Civil War
regressives would much rather burn it all down
than evolve into progressives along with the rest of humanity

in part because they don't believe in evolution : )
and in part because none of it matters anyway
since the only thing that really matters
is Imaginary Jebus
and self fulfilling the End Times
