23. Don't confuse defense contractor with mercenary.

Two very different things. Mercenary companies can be defense contractors, but very few DoD contractors are mercenary firms.

My company is a DoD contractor and we have naught to do with combat or foreign action. But plenty of DoD contractors who do have personnel on the ground in hot zones, have nothing to do with mercenary activity.
