They didn't get the first stimulus. So if their income dropped that significantly, they're getting more than they did before.
I'm kinda shocked that after weeks of screams about keeping the money out of poor peoples' hands, we're now going after 6-figure incomes.

I get my promised stimulus but a lot won't, and this is going to be a big problem in 2022 and 2024
