7. Yeah, they've built a new nest, N3.

I think RRP is talking with the landowners, but haven't heard any updates.

Another pair has been visiting N2B... bringing in a few sticks... and enjoying some hanky panky. But we just don't' know if Mom and DM2 will tolerate another pair in their territory. There are other parts of the country where eagles nest much closer together because of need. Also, the female in the new pair is only 4 years old, so this may just be practice.

New kids on the block:



And, as mentioned above, the North nest has two eggs, with the first egg due for hatching sometime around 3/28.
